Entry & Exit Procedures

P1 - One  adult is  permitted for morning drop off and for pick up at 3pm (if escorting a P1 child in the mornings,  adults should please remain in the P1 playground and not in the middle playground.) P1 parents please  stand behind the yellow markings in the playground to allow safe and access for our LCR children to enter and walk to the LCR door.

P2, P2/3 and P3 pupils should enter the playground independently (9am). One  adult is  permitted at dismissal time (3pm) for P2, P2/3 and P3 classes.

P4-P7 pupils  should enter and leave the playground independently .

Those families who have asked for special permission to accompany their child, please call at the school office to obtain a playground pass.

Access to school

No adults are permitted in the school without an appointment. The preferred option would be to speak with family members on the phone and where a face to face meeting is required then this will be arranged.

Please phone the school to pass on any general information relating to your child. If you wish to speak to a member of staff this will be arranged at the time if someone is available. If no one available at that time we will call you back.

Health & safety

In order to ensure the safety of our pupils we remind parents that the drop off area in front of the school is for school use only and is to provide safe access for the transportation of our pupils who attend our Language and Communication Resource.

Gates to the school grounds will be locked at 9.15am until 2.45pm.  This is to prevent unknown adults being in the school grounds during the school day.
