Transition Visit to Rosshall Academy - Thursday 17th June 2021

Due to Covid regulations there has been a change to the organisation of transition visits for our P7 pupils.

The new arrangements are as follows:

Transition days will comprise of a 2 hour visit to Rosshall Academy and 'Remotely Rosshall' activities which will be e-mailed to schools to be shown to pupils in classes.

Pupils will go to  Rosshall Academy in  school groups in bubbles, where possible – not mixing with other schools and in numbers no greater than 30. Information regarding which group your child will be in is to follow.

Pupils will enter the school via the Community entrance where they can distance and will then go to the Gym Hall for a socially distanced assembly.        

       
Where possible, all activities will take place outside – rainy weather will result in use of the Games Hall as it is a large space for social distancing.

Morning session visit 9:30-11:30 : Pupils will return to their Primary school after the morning session (ending at 11:30am)

Afternoon session visit 12:30-14:30: Pupils will leave from Rosshall to go home, immediately after the afternoon session (ending at 14:30).

P7 pupils will not be in any spaces with Rosshall pupils – cleaning, distancing and mask wearing will follow Rosshall risk assessment – masks will be provided where required.

Rosshall Risk assessment will be followed to ensure safety and to limit COVID risk.
