As we prepare for the new school session, we would like to update you with some important information regarding Clothing Grants and Free School Meals.
Automatic payments
Any parents/guardians who are eligible for an automatic payment will receive their payment the first 2 weeks in July.
Parents/guardians who received a Grant last year but were not automatically entitled will receive a declaration form in the post, which should be completed and returned to CBS Grants Team.
Anyone who does not receive an automatic payment or a declaration form in the post must make a new application.

Application forms will be available online from the start of July, for anyone who has not been issued with an automatic payment.
The quickest and easiest way for Parents/guardians to apply is via the online application form at www.glasgow.gov.uk .
For anyone who does not have internet access, a paper form will also be available on the website (please contact Headteacher1108@sandwood-pri.glasgow.sch.uk if you require a form to be printed.)
Unfortunately the CBS Grants Team are unable to post forms to applicants.
Processing timescales
Applicants must allow 4 weeks from submission before contacting CBS Grants Team to enquire about an application that has been submitted.
Any enquiries to the team will be responded to within 10 working days from submission.

Parents/Guardians should utilise the online form for enquiries however in the event they do not have online facility they can dial 0141 276 1177 where their enquiry will be logged by a GCC call handler and passed to the team for action.
