The range of subjects in technical education has changed significantly over the last two decades and now includes craft, design, engineering and graphics.

The components are:

• Technological developments in society  
• ICT to enhance learning
• Business contexts for developing technological skills and knowledge
• Computing science contexts for developing technological skills and knowledge
• Food and textiles contexts for developing technological skills and knowledge

ICT is used to enhance Teaching and Learning across all curricular areas.  Classes are equipped with a Smartboard and computers. Pupils are encouraged to  develop their skills and gain confidence in using new technologies.
